Kevin was born and raised in Ohio and graduated with an information technology degree from Miami University in Ohio in 1978. He spent 40 years in the information technology field primarily in Cincinnati, raising three children with his late wife Barb of 26 years.
Katherine (Katie) is a veterinarian and lives with her husband Andrew, also a veterinarian, in Connecticut. The couple is raising his only granddaughter, Sullivan.
His son, Christopher, is an information technology software engineer and lives in Columbus, Ohio.
Kevin’s other daughter, Kelsey, is a marketing professional and lives in Arizona.
Kevin and Barb moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2014 where he still resides. Creating The Take-Away Sleigh is the first project of its kind and honors his late wife Barb who battled pancreatic cancer for nearly a year and passed away in 2017. Kevin will be donating a portion of his proceeds from the book in support of cancer research to help find earlier detection and better therapies for this terrible disease.
